Perfect Day at CocoCay Port Guide

Getting ashore	Ships dock at a pier. The walk from ship to Arrivals Plaza is about six minutes, and a complimentary pier tram runs up and down it.

What is free

More than people expect. Royal Caribbean publishes that "there is no admission fee to visit Perfect Day CocoCay" and that most experiences are complimentary:

Chill Island, South Beach, Harbor Beach and Breezy Bay
Oasis Lagoon, which they call the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean, with a swim-up bar
Splashaway Bay and Captain Jill's Galleon for children
Five dining spots, including the Snack Shack, Chill Grill and Skipper Grill
Beach chairs and umbrellas throughout the island, lockers, freshwater showers and restrooms
Volleyball, basketball, soccer and table tennis
Towels from the ship, with three exchange stations. A towel you do not return costs $25.

Your ship drink package works on the island, including at the Oasis Lagoon swim-up bar.

What costs extra

Thrill Waterpark, Hideaway Beach (18 and over), Coco Beach Club, cabanas including the twenty overwater ones, the 1,600-foot zip line, Up Up and Away, jet skis, kayaks, snorkel gear and daybeds.

No official page publishes a single price for any of it. Royal Caribbean says only that prices vary by season and sends you to the Cruise Planner for your own sailing. Anyone quoting you a firm figure is quoting an old one. Book through the Cruise Planner before you sail, since cabana bookings open up to a year ahead.

Accessibility, which is unusually well documented

Royal Caribbean states plainly that "Perfect Day CocoCay is an accessible island," and publishes the detail to back it up:

Complimentary beach access wheelchairs at three locations, first come first served. Ask a crew member.
Accessible trams on regular rotation around the island, and a pier tram so you need not walk the pier.
Pool lifts at Oasis Lagoon and at the Coco Beach Club infinity pool. The waterpark's wave pool is wheelchair accessible.
Coco Beach Club has a lift in the pool, a lower bar counter, ramps to dining, an accessible restroom and a shower.

The honest limitation, in their words: "The towers to the waterpark's slides and the tower to the Zip Line have stairs." And nothing is published about accessibility at Hideaway Beach.

Walk times from the Arrivals Plaza, useful for pacing a day: waterpark about 3 minutes, Harbor Beach about 5, Hideaway Beach about 7, Oasis Lagoon about 8, South Beach and Coco Beach Club about 10. Tram frequency is published as every 10 minutes on one page and every 15 on another, so treat it as "every ten to fifteen minutes."

One for the casino players

Royal Caribbean publishes that a ship casino must close in port, "with very few exceptions," and names CocoCay as one: you can go back aboard early and play while docked there. If you are working on a comp offer, a CocoCay day is a rare chance to add coin-in during daylight.
